Directions to the Church

From New Jersey Turnpike - (Route 95) Take the Turnpike to Exit 9 (New Brunswick). After toll booth, bear left, following signs to East Brunswick and South River (Route 18 South). Follow Route 18 South for approximately 3.3 miles to Arthur St. exit. Then follow the local directions listed below.

From Garden State Parkway - Take Exit 129 (Route 1 South). Follow Route 1 South for about 10 miles to Route 18 South (South River and East Brunswick). Exit is just beyond Loew's Theater and Raritan River (Morris Goodkind) Bridge. Follow Route 18 South for about 4.1 miles to Arthur St. exit. Then follow the local directions listed below.

Bus from New York City - Suburban Transit Bus (Gates 420-424) from the Port Authority Bus Terminal (8th Avenue and 41st Street) to the East Brunswick PNC Bank Tower Center/Transportation Center. This is the first stop immediately after leaving the New Jersey Turnpike. Bus leaves every 1/2 hour and takes about 45 minutes one way.

Car from New York City - Take the Lincoln or Holland Tunnels or the George Washington Bridge from Manhattan to the New Jersey Turnpike South and follow directions above. Take the Goethals Bridge from Staten Island to Exit 13 of the New Jersey Turnpike and travel south along the Turnpike as outlined above. Or take the Outerbridge Crossing from Staten Island and follow signs for the New Jersey Turnpike South as outlined above.

From Newark Airport - Follow signs to New Jersey Turnpike (Route 95) South at Exit 13A and refer to directions above.

Local Directions - From Arthur St. exit, make a left onto Arthur St. After the traffic light, follow Arthur St. for 3 blocks to the Old Bridge Turnpike. Make a right onto Old Bridge Turnpike and an immediate left onto Kamm Avenue. Follow Kamm Avenue for about one mile to its terminus at the stop sign (intersection of Kamm Avenue and Whitehead Avenue). Turn left onto Whitehead Ave. After 3 blocks you will see the Church on the left.

David is available to meet with you, either at home or in church, to participate in the Sacraments of Holy Confession and Communion. Please email or call Fr. David to set up an appointment.  
 
General Confession will resume on Saturday June 7th. It is held on the first and third Saturdays of every month. You are NOT required to attend twice per month - only once - and if you are in need of a private confession, Fr. David is available on Saturday evenings, starting at 6PM.
 
For the spiritual edification of those seeking to delve deeper into Holy Scripture, we're pleased to offer Weekly Bible Study in Russian  led by Father Anatoly Andreev. Class will meet Today in the church hall following the Coffee Hour. If you want the opportunity to experience Christ in the language that is very close to your heart, come and participate.
 
The 25th Anniversary of the Run/Walk for the Church is scheduled for Saturday, June 28th, beginning at 10:00AM. More details to follows.
 
We will be celebrating our 120th Church Anniversary on Saturday-Sunday, June 28-29. Vespers with Archbishop MICHAEL will be served at 7PM., followed by a Welcome Home Reception in the church hall. On Sunday, we will gather for a Heirarchical Divine Liturgy with His Emminence at 9AM, followed by Coffee Hour and then an Anniversary Banquet at the Ria-Mar Restaurant starting a 2PM. A dinner ticket order form, as well info on the Commemorative Ad Book, was either handed out or mailed to you last month; if you did not get one, see Karen Berezniak, or Allison Steffaro. MARK YOUR CALENDARS NOW!!! See you there!
 
Church School Closing/Graduate Recognition Exercises  will be held following Liturgy on Sun., June 29th.
 
Enjoy a taste of Italy by joining the Men's Club for a Spaghetti Dinner  on Saturday, July 12, starting at 6PM, in the church hall. (Vespers with General Confession will be held at 5PM).  Carmen Spezzi will again be donating his fantastic sauce and his cooking time! Enjoy a great meal of pasta, Carmen's homemade meat sauce, sausage, meatballs, tossed salad, bread, dessert and coffee. For your entertainment pleasure, The King, Elvis Presley, will be returning to perform two sets beginning at 7:30PM. Tickets for this BYOB event are $35.00; takeout is available from 6 - 7PM for $20.00 (Show NOT included). Several gift baskets will be raffled, as well as a 65" Smart TV (Tickets for this prize are $7 apiece or 3 for $20) If you are interested in attending, save the date and see Phil (908)331-1297 for tickets. FOOD CARD PROGRAM : Food cards are available for various supermarket chains after Divine Liturgy, and do not cost any more than the face value of the card. The church receives a percentage as a free fundraiser! See Judy Znaiden in church or at jznaiden@optonline.net.
