David is available to meet with you, either at home or in church, to participate in the Sacraments of Holy Confession and Communion. Please email or call Fr. David to set up an appointment.  

 

FOOD CARD PROGRAM : Food cards are available for various supermarket chains after Divine Liturgy, and do not cost any more than the face value of the card. The church receives a percentage as a free fundraiser! See Judy Znaiden in church or at jznaiden@optonline.net.

 

Father David will be facilitating an Advent Faith Enrichment Series in the church at 7 PM on the following 3 Mondays plus one Tuesday: Monday November 27 and December 11 and 18... AND on Tuesday, Dec. 5th which will be in the Parish Hall after Vespers. Join him for four evenings of learning and discussion on "Who Christ Is", as we prepare together to welcome Him into our hearts, homes and families this Christmas.

 

The Senior R Club  is holding a Dessert Roll Sale through Sunday, November 19th. Those wishing to place an order should see Carol Deerson during Coffee Hour or phone her at (732) 254-4979. Nut, poppy seed, apricot and prune rolls are $18.00 each and pick-up will be in the hall on Friday, December 8th, between 3:00 and 6:00PM. Wouldn't it be nice to have a delicious treat when friends and family visit this Christmas? Make the holiday sweeter and buy one (or more) TODAY!

 

As we are getting closer to the Nativity of Christ, our Church school students are busy preparing for the Saint Nicholas Day Pagaent, which is scheduled for Sunday, December 10th, in the hall. Parents are asked to bring their children to class on Sundays, so that they can rehearse what promises to be a very delightful prgram for the holiday season. (A full dress rehearsal is scheduled for Sat, December 9 at 2:00PM)

 

The St. Anne's Guild Annual Holiday Cookie Sale will be held in the church hall on Sunday, December 17, following Liturgy. If you are interested in being a baker for this year's sale, see Karen Berezniak during Coffee Hour or phone her at (732)754-0033. If you are unavaible to bake, but wish to make a monetary donation towards the cost of supplies for the sale, your offering would be greatly appreciated.

 

Our Church Choir will be hosting its 22nd Annual Community Christmas Concert on Sunday Dec. 17 at 3:00PM in the church. It will be a festive afternoon of liturgical hymns and secular carols, all sung in a grand and Christ-honoring way. The event is FREE and open to everyone, so invite your family, friends and neighbors to come and share in the joy of the season; all we ask is that you bring one canned good (soup, vegetable or fruit) for the South River Food Bank. A recption in the hall will follow.
