David is available to meet with you, either at home or in church, to participate in the Sacraments of Holy Confession and Communion. Please email or call Fr. David to set up an appointment.
Thanksgiving is around the corner! Have you started baking yet? If not, the Altar Society can help with its Annual Thanksgiving Bake Sale on Sunday November 24, after Liturgy in the hall. Please support this fundraiser and buy a "yummy for your tummy" in celebration of the Holiday - thanks!!
Just in time for the upcoming Christmas season, our parish will hold a Holiday Food Sale for pickup on Friday, December 6th, from 3-6pm, in the hall. (Pre-orders ONLY!) Babkas, kolachi rolls, pierogies, cheese blintzes, and stuffed cabbage will be available. Order forms with prices, quantities and deadlines are included in Oct. 13th bulletin (and on the home page of the website). Plan for a party, holiday dinner or gift-giving and save yourself some work; stock up now on these delicious food items you know and love!
Reach for a star an help make this Christmas a truly joyous one for seminarian families at St. Vladimir's and St. Tikhon's. Pick an ornament off the Christmas Giving Trees in the church vestibule and return the requested gift unwrapped, along with the tag, no later than Sun, Nov. 24. Please be aware that this may be the only gift someone will open on December 25th. If you choose a monetary gift, place the amount requested in an envelope and give it to Allison Steffaro. Thanks for sharing the light of Christ and spreading the holiday spirit to those in need.
The Saint Nicolas Day Pagaent will be presented by the Church School children on Sunday, December 8th after Liturgy in the hall. Rehearsal will be held on Sunday, December 1st, immediately following Liturgy dismissal.
The Annual Parish Choir Holiday Concert for the community will be held on Sun, December 15th, at 3PM , in the church. Please set the date aside.
FOOD CARD PROGRAM : Food cards are available for various supermarket chains after Divine Liturgy, and do not cost any more than the face value of the card. The church receives a percentage as a free fundraiser! See Judy Znaiden in church or at jznaiden@optonline.net.
