Before Donating

We respectfully request that you keep the checkbox, entitled "Cover Fees", checked before giving your donation—or check it if not checked already (note: this will increase your donation slightly to cover our processing costs).
- To reduce processing fees, you can donate through your bank instead by selecting the "Bank" option and entering your Routing and Account numbers. Select "Individual" unless you're donating for a company.
Please also consider a "Recurring Donation" (either weekly or monthly). This provides us with a much-needed steady stream of support!
- To enable recurring donations, check the "Recurring Giving" box on the form, then make the required selections (e.g., "Every Month" and "1st").
- For instance, if you want to give every month on the 1st day, select "Every Month" and then "1st".

For those who are hesitant to worship in person, Fr. John is available to meet with you, either at home or in church, to participate in the Sacraments of Holy Confession and Communion. Please email or call Fr. John to set up an appointment. Coffee Hour Request: There is a need of volunteers for this service ministry. Please see Deborah Silowka to find out how you can help. Use the joy you find in baking to serve the Church...be a part of our group of Holy Rollers and help in Prosphora Baking. Prosphora is the bread that becomes the Body of Christ at every Liturgy. If you are interested, come to the church hall on Saturday, June 27th, starting at 10:00AM, and get involved in this very spiritually rewarding undertaking. Our Annual Patronal Feast Celebration will take place on Monday, June 29th. (This will be Father David's FINAL LITURGY with us.) Immediately after the Liturgy and Procession, there will be a potluck meal in the hall. Come enjoy good food and fellowship! ALL are invited to attend this FREE event. A sign-up sheet is posted in the church vestibule for all those who would like to donate something (covered dish, salad, dessert, beverage, etc.) for the repast. Let us join together as a parish family and honor the heavenly protectors of our community, SS. Peter and Paul, and bid a fond farewell to Fr. David. Tickets are now on sale for the Men's Club Annual Spaghetti Dinner to be held on Sat. July 11th, starting at 6pm, in the hall. (NOTE: Vespers & General Confession will be served at 5pm). Besides a terrific meal of spaghetti, Carmen Spezzi's Sauce, sausage, meatballs, tossed salad, bread, icecream and coffee, there will be some special entertainment you won't want to miss - Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin & Marilyn Monroe will be in the house for two sets! Tickets are $40 each ($20 for takeout from 6-7pm without the show. Soda an water will be available for purchase at this BYOB event. Boris and Gleb Saturday, July 25 6:00 Confessions 7:00 Vespers Monthly Calendar > Vespers The evening prayer service of the Orthodox Church, traditionally celebrated at sunset. Vespers includes psalms, hymns, scripture readings, and incense. On Saturday evenings, Great Vespers is often combined with the Sunday Divine Liturgy. The service marks the end of the liturgical day and prepares the faithful for rest and reflection. Holy Confession The sacrament of reconciliation through which the faithful confess their sins to a priest and receive absolution. Also called the sacrament of repentance or penance, confession restores the baptismal purity lost through sin and reconciles the penitent with God and the Church. The penitent stands before an icon of Christ while confessing to the priest, who acts as a witness and minister of God's forgiveness. The priest then covers the penitent's head with his epitrachelion (stole) and pronounces the prayer of absolution. St. Seraphim of Sarov The beloved Russian hermit and mystic known for his joy and spiritual wisdom. Celebrated on January 2nd, Seraphim spent years in solitude before becoming a spiritual father to thousands. His greeting 'My joy!' and teaching that the purpose of Christian life is acquiring the Holy Spirit inspired countless believers. He represents the mystical tradition of Orthodox spirituality. Divine Liturgy The central worship service of the Orthodox Church, celebrating the Eucharist (Holy Communion). Usually celebrated on Sundays and feast days, the Divine Liturgy consists of the Liturgy of the Word (scripture readings) and Liturgy of the Faithful (Eucharistic prayer and communion). The most common forms are the Liturgies of St. John Chrysostom and St. Basil the Great. Prophet Elijah The fiery Old Testament prophet who defended monotheism against Baal worship and was taken up to heaven in a chariot of fire. Celebrated on July 20th, Prophet Elijah represents zealous faith and God's power over false gods. His appearance at the Transfiguration alongside Moses shows his continued importance in Christian revelation. Sts. Boris and Gleb The first saints canonized by the Russian Orthodox Church, sons of St. Vladimir who chose martyrdom over civil war. Celebrated on July 24th, these 'Passion-Bearers' were murdered by their brother but refused to resist, following Christ's example of non-violence. They represent the choice of peace over power and Christ-like suffering.	Fr.
